Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth Breakup Rumors Fueled By Singer Referencing Ex-Boyfriend Nick Jonas in PHOTO
Miley Cyrus added fuel to the fire when she posed for a photo holding a bracelet that reportedly referenced her ex-boyfriend, around the same time that sources said she and Liam Hemsworth have ended their engagement.
Cyrus was 14 when she and pop singer/former Disney channel star Nick Jonas began dating. They broke up in 2007 but a year later, she admitted to Seventeen magazine, "Nick and I loved each other. We were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7."
The two have remained friends over the years and were rumored to have met up for lunch in Los Angeles on March 25, five days after Hemsworth returned to California from working in the Philippines.
Facing rumors of an end to her current relationship - Cyrus, 20, and Hemsworth, 23, got engaged in the summer of 2012 - she posed for photos recently holding up a bracelet with the name "NICK" emblazoned across it. See a photo here.
No confirmation has been made by either star if the bracelet was a direct reference at Jonas.
The Jonas Brothers singer admitted in October of 2012 that the band's song, Wedding Bell, was about Cyrus.
Cyrus still sports her 3.5 carat Neil Lane engagement ring that Hemsworth proposed with, though an insider told Us Weekly about the couple, "they are definitely over." She wore the diamond during a video shoot in Los Angeles on May 30, where she was photographed in a cropped white tank top that she paired with gold chains and red lipstick. See a photo here.
