Halle Berry will be the guest of honor at the 2nd Annual Champs Elysees Film Festival in Paris, it was announced recently.

The expecting, 46-year-old actress will be at the event scheduled to take place June 12-18.

Brad Pitt will receive a retrospective as part of a build up to the July 3 release of World War Z: the festival will screen six of his major movies. His films screening at the event are Se7en, Fight Club, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Babel, Burn after reading and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

Pitt is to be honored for his 25-year movie career.

French actress-producer Julie Gayet joins actor Olivier Martinez as the Champs Elysees festival presidents. Martinez and Berry are expecting their first child together.

A nine-title competition of independent, new U.S. films will be held, with an Audience Award as the prize. Among the American feature films submitted to the public's vote for best feature is How To Make Money Selling Drugs. a documentary by Matthew Cooke with Woody Harrelson, Susan Sarandon, Eminem and 50 Cent.

This year's industry guest of honor will be Jean-Francois Camilleri, prexy of The Walt Disney Company France.

The festival will open with the premiere of the comedy-drama Struck by Lightning, directed by Brian Dannelly and presented by actor Chris Colfer. The film marks the Glee star's debut as a writer. Closing the festival will be the screening of Girl most likely, directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini. The film stars Kristen Wiig and Darren Criss.
