Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Celebrate Actress' 38th Birthday in Paris Following 'World War Z' Premiere
Angelina Jolie celebrated her 38th birthday at a romantic dinner in Paris with fiancé Brad Pitt, People reported Tuesday.
Jolie celebrated her birthday on Tuesday and dined with Pitt following the premiere of his film World War Z at the Normandie Theatre. Pitt chose the high-end wine restaurant Il Vino and personally arranged the dinner, according to the report. The two ate their meal in the back of the restaurant.
Sources said that the couple fined on langoustines with a French wine. There was also a cake for the occasion. Yen Goel was also dining at the restaurant with her husband at the same time as Jolie and Pitt.
"They came in very unobtrusively. It was real fast," he said of seeing the celebrity couple. "They walked by, and I said to my husband, 'I think I just saw Brad and Angelina walk by us.' And he said, 'I think you may have had one glass of wine too many already," Yen Goel said.
Earlier in the day, Pitt told reporters that every year was special when it came to celebrating birthdays.
"This year isn't any more special than other years. We're going to celebrate in the air with the kids because we're going on to the next city," he said.
Jolie's appearance Pitt's movie premiere for World War Z on June 2 in London was her first public outing since revealing that she had a double mastectomy. She told reporters on the red carpet that she felt wonderful. Pitt praised her for coming forward about her medical decisions.
"That's who I fell in love with from the very beginning," he said. "The person that you see now is the person that I've always known and she's heroic and incredibly strong and will attack any problem head-on and make it work."
