Tom Cruise Auditions Vanessa Kirby For ‘Mission Impossible 6’ Role
Tom Cruise may have found love again after his failed relationships with Nicole Kidman of the "Moulin Rouge" fame, and Katie Holmes of "Batman Begins". His divorce from Holmes completed five years ago and yet he has not been significantly linked with anyone since then. Cruise has reportedly fallen for Vanessa Kirby who plays Princess Margaret in "The Crown".
The 54-year old Cruise of the "Mission Impossible" franchise is reportedly attracted to the 28-year old British actress Kirby. The stage actress' charm has blown away Cruise the first time they met when she got the lead female role in the "Mission Impossible 6" movie. Cruise apparently saw Kirby in the Netflix series and that led to the coveted role.
Cruise, who will once again produce and play the role of American spy Ethan Hunt in "Mission Impossible 6", thinks Kirby is perfect not just for a crucial role in the movie, but also as his wife, according to Mirror. Hollywood's "Top Gun" actor and producer is said to be open for a fourth wedding the moment he meets the right girl. If he is so besotted with Kirby as reported, then she could be the next Mrs. Tom Cruise.
Kirby is just starting to break into Hollywood but has an impressive acting history on stage and on the big screen, according to Telegraph. She played Estella in the 2011 "Great Expectations" adaptation by BBC. She also starred in "A Streetcar Named Desire" and "Jupiter Ascending". It was, however, her role as the rebellious Princess Margaret that got people, especially Cruise, to notice her.
The instant chemistry between Kirby and Cruise is expected to make "Mission Impossible 6" another box office hit. However, fans are more excited about the many possibilities that could happen when it comes to a possible romantic relationship between the two stars. MI6 will be officially shown in theaters in 2018.
