Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran 'Everything Has Changed' Music VIDEO Premiere of Collaboration, Watch
Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran released the video for their collaboration single Everything Has Changed just after midnight Thursday.
The song is the latest single off Swift's multi-platinum album Red.
Swift described the track as simply "about falling in love. It's about meeting someone and all of a sudden your entire perspective on the world changes - you're thinking for two, instead of one."
In the video, a tall, longhaired little girl goes on the school bus and interacts with a redheaded little boy. It is clear that they are meant to look like miniature versions of Swift and Sheeran. They strike up a friendship that sees the pair doing arts and crafts, building forts and experiencing life, as only a child knows how.
Later, the girl tries on dresses and the boy gets a fake tattoo.
As for where Swift and Sheeran appear in the video, watch to find out:
Sheeran is currently touring with Swift as the country superstar's opening act for her Red tour. Swift contacted Sheeran back in 2012 after hearing his music and asked if he could perform a duet with her in addition to the tour.
Backstage at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, Sheeran defended Swift, who is often criticized for singing about her ex-boyfriends:
"I think you sing about what you know. There's nothing worse than singing a song that has no relevance to you, and all the songs she's singing have a deep relevance to her. They're all personal," he said.
Swift has had enormous success with her fourth album, Red, selling 1.2 million records in its first week of release. Two singles off the album, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and I Knew You Were Trouble hit No. 1 and No. 2 respectively on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
Sheeran has also been successful in the US with his debut album, +, but he has had more success in his homeland of the UK, where the album went 5x platinum.
