The Voice Season 12 Top 5 Best Performances: Chris Blue and Lauren Duski Dominate The Elite Spots (VIDEO)
NBC's The Voice ended its twelfth season on May 23, 2017 and crowned Chris Blue as the winner. With the season on hiatus until its return in the Fall, it is now up to the contestants to go out and make a name for themselves. In the meantime, we broke down the top performances of the season. Outstanding numbers came in about every week from Blue and second place winner, Lauren Duski. We can only imagine what Season 13 has in store for us now.
5- Chris Blue: Superstition by Stevie Wonder. This was the performance that solidified Blue as a frontrunner. Nailing the high notes of this classic, Blue showed off his epic vocal range.
4- Hunter Plake: All I Want by Kodaline. Plake may have fallen short of the finale, but this performance sticks with us as one of the best performances of the season.
3- Lauren Duski: Ghost in this House by Shenandoah. Duski hit the top 10 chart on iTunes several occasions, but this performance broke her free from the middle and placed her in frontrunner status.
2- Chris Blue: Love on the Brain by Rihanna. Rightfully winning the season, Blue delivered his greatest performance in the first week of the live competition rounds. This number was another successful moment for the young singer.
1- Lauren Duski: Deja Vu by Lauren Duski. Duski showed off her beautiful voice and proved that she has major star potential. This performance went number one on iTunes, however, she surprisingly still did not win.
