Colombian singer Shakira once sangs that her "hips don't lie," but she's coming clean about her past concerns about her celebrated body.

The singer opened up to In Touch Weekly's June 12 issue that she once contemplated getting breast implants, and surgery on other parts of her body.

"A few years ago, I considered surgery, breast augmentation and all kinds of things," she told the publication. "'Maybe my eyebrows should be higher. Maybe my lips should be bigger.' It was really making me bitter."

Instead of succumbing to her fears and pressure, however, she said that she decided to take matters into her own hands and simply believe in herself.

"Eventually I said, 'Forget it,' and started accepting myself the way I am," she resolved.

Her self-esteem has helped her in recent months, as she battles the outside pressure to get back the body she had before giving birth to her 4-month-old son Milan. It's a process the singer admitted was "stressful."

"I was going to be on TV two months after delivering a baby," Shakira continued. "I'm not complaining, but it's been full of challenges."

Even as she attempts to lose the baby weight, there's one food item that always going to stay in the picture: her beloved chocolate.

"I'm addicted to it," she said about her favorite sweet treat. "I like any kind. American, Belgian, Swiss- I don't discriminate!"

However, even if Shakira was everconcerned about her body, she does not have much to worry about in terms of her brains.

The singer, whose IQ is listed at 140, was named by MENSA on a list the organization published of high IQ-ed celebs. The list, released last Saturday, also included Madonna, Quentin Tarantino, and James Woods with a whopping score of 180.

The organization describes anyone who scores over 139 as an "almost genius."
