Jay-Z Skips Awards Gala During Speculation Of Beyoncé Giving Birth
The arrival of the Carter twins is soon approaching! Rumors have been spreading that Beyoncé was already in labor since Jay-Z decided to skip the 48th Annual Songwriters Hall Of Fame Induction and Awards Gala in NYC.
Fearful of missing the arrival of his newborn twins, the 47-year-old rapper missed out on receiving an award for being the first-ever rapper to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Jay-Z showed his appreciation by posting 13 tweets to all of his fans and to those who have inspired him to become the entertainer he is today.
"Thank you to all the people that have inspired me," he said while shouting out Hip-Hop legends such as Nas, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G, Kendrick Lamar and Lauryn Hill.
Speculation of the twins' birth arises especially since Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, was not in attendance of the gala as well.
Hollywood Life revealed on Tuesday that Beyoncé and her team of security guards were seen at a hospital in West Los Angeles. The publication also mentioned that Beyoncé was past her due date.
The Beyhive is definitely buzzing up a storm speculating that Beyoncé either has given birth to the twins and is laying low or she is due at any given moment.
As to Jay-Z's absence at the gala, sources told E! News that he was seen with his daughter, Blue Ivy, nearby a hospital in Los Angeles.
