'The Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Season 5 Episode 2 SPOILER VIDEO: Melissa Gorga Teresa Giuidice Feud Forces Her To Want To Sell Home (WATCH)
In the preview clip for the second episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 5, Melissa Gorga, and her husband, Joe Gorga, meet with their real estate agent, Jerry Sahlman, to discuss selling their home.
Melissa says in her on-camera confessional that she's disappointed that they have yet to sell their house that has been on the market for six months and explained the real reason she wants to move.
"We've had our house on the market for about six months now. We did move to this town to be five minutes from Teresa, but sometimes when you're living in the same town and you're going to the same dance and the same gymnastics and the same high school, that, in the situation we're in, is too close for comfort; and after the play date, I feel like Teresa and I have had enough chances of just trying to fix it," she explained about her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice.
Melissa tells Stahl that she asked her husband, "Why isn't the realtor bringing people in?"
Stahl tells the couple that "$3.8 million is not a small sum of money."
"The upper-end economy is a much slimmer market than it used to be," he adds.
"If this was a couple years ago this house would be at 6 million dollars," Joe tells Stahl. "When I built this house, that's what the going rate was.
"In Montville, there are only three houses over 3 million dollars. It's just gonna take time.
"I need to get out of here," Melissa tells Stahl. "You gotta do this this year. Jerry, sell my house!"
"The good news is that we have a couple of people coming Friday. These people can actually afford it," Stahl tells the couple.
The sneak peek also flashes back to when Melissa sat with the rest of the cast for the season 4 reunion special. In the brief edit, reunion host Andy Cohen asks Melissa whywss she trying to sell the house and Melissa told him because she "doesn't want her kids to go to school with (Teresa).
