The Voice semifinals episode on Monday will offer two surprises for the first time this season, as Usher will perform a solo set live and song selections will be sung by five contestants instead of four.

Usher, who performed previously with the other mentors in the season 4 premiere show, will debut his new single, Twisted, during Monday's live semifinals show. The song features guest lyrics by Pharrell, who served as one of the guest mentors to the contestants during season 4. Pharrell performed live on The Voice last month alongside Robin Thicke. The hit song maker appears in Thick's latest single, Blurred Lines, which also features guest lyrics by Atlanta rapper T.I. The trio played the live set together with barely clothed models on NBC's hit singing competition show on May 14.

There are other guest musical acts scheduled to hit the stage on Monday in addition to Usher and the 5 contestants. Fall Out Boy, Tony Lucca, Nicholas David and Terry McDermott will also perform.

The Top 5 contestants in the semifinals are:

Team Blake: Danielle Bradbery, The Swon Brothers

Team Adam: Amber Carrington

Team Shakira: Sasha Allen

Team Usher: Michelle Chamuel

The contestants will compete two song selections each to earn as much votes as they can when the voting lines open up Monday night. They will learn on Tuesday's results show who will make it to next week's Top 4 finale show which airs on June 18.

Fans of the show can watch the show live online via free live stream on their computer, tablet and mobile phone.
