Jenelle Evans Book: 'Teen Mom 2' Talks Troubled Childhood [VIDEO]
Jenelle Evans is opening up about her childhood in her new book and telling all about her troubled relationships with her father and sister.
Speaking out in Read Between the Lines, the Teen Mom 2 star revealed that her father suddenly disappeared from her life at a young age.
“We never had fun vacations or cozy holidays,” she wrote, according to a report by Radar Online on July 28. “There wasn’t a gathering that didn’t end in a screaming match... I was daddy’s little girl. I love and admired him. I still do in some small way. Without warning everything changed, and my dad cut himself out of my life. Even now, as a grown woman we don’t talk. Maybe one day that will change. Maybe one day we can find one another, get to know each other, and he can finally be my father.”
As for her siblings, Ashleigh and Colin, Evans never felt close to either.
“I have no memories of my older sister comforting me in times of trouble or my older brother sticking up for me," she admitted. "Ashleigh is older than both of us, and she made sure we remembered it. She was snobby and b****y, and had no time for either Colin or me. I only wanted to hang out with my cool older sister, but no. Between her words and actions, she pushed me away as hard as she could.”
“[Ashleigh] fought with everyone in her life, friends and family," she continued. "After she repeated the fifth grade, Ashleigh slid deeper into a dark place. She went through a Goth phase, with all black clothes and stuff like that. She also dabbled in witchcraft and other weird stuff.
