Did LuAnn De Lesseps' husband cheat on her?
On Thursday, following weeks of cheating allegations against Tom D'Agostino, the Real Housewives of New York City star took to Twitter to confirm her plans to seek a divorce after just seven months of marriage. Right away, new rumors began swirling.
“She is devastated, and humiliated,” a source told Radar Online on August 3, claiming that the reality star looked "horrible" at her former co-star Jill Zarin’s Luxury Luncheon in the Hamptons last weekend.
“She was beet red from crying,” the source added. “She looked horrible, so sad and depressed.”
De Lesseps was present at Zarin's event, along with Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon, Tinsley Mortimer, and several other stars of the Real Housewives franchise, including Kathy Wakile and Marysol Patton.
In a separate report, also shared on August 3 by Radar Online, another insider suggested that the reason behind De Lesseps' decision to file for divorce was infidelity that was reportedly proven by Singer.
“Ramona brought damaging evidence,” a source said. “Photos and text messages from another woman.”
De Lesseps confirmed her divorce news on Twitter with a post that read, "“It’s with great sadness that Tom and I agreed to divorce. We care for each other very much, hope you respect our privacy during this sad time!"
D'Agostino has not yet shared a statement publicly.
