'Avengers: Infinity War’ Cast Members Were Not Permitted To Read Entire Scripts To Avoid Spoilers & Leaks
Marvel Studios reportedly did not allow the cast of "Avengers: Infinity War" to receive and read the entire script of the movie. This was no other reason but to prevent spoilers and leaking some thrilling parts of the franchise.
It is already typical for Marvel Studios to be secretive when it comes to their big screen projects. That's why for the upcoming "Avengers" movie, they do not even trust the cast members who will be playing the mightiest heroes on Earth. This is also to keep their mouth shut from further spoiling details.
The latest report from Slash Film confirmed that "Avengers: Infinity War" is already done with shooting and filming and that the team is currently working on its production. Even if some have already gotten a taste of what the film will bring next summer because of the footage played at the San Diego Comic Con and The D23 Expo, still fans may not be able to hear new details about the film.
Moreover, the viewers and the fans cannot even rely on the members of the cast of "Avengers: Infinity War" to spill secrets about the film like what they did in the previous promotions. It was then revealed that directors Anthony and Joe Russo did not give their cast the entire script. Instead, they were provided with relevant information and materials in order for them to effectively deliver their dialogues and performance.
When Elizabeth Olsen appeared on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert", the actress was asked right away if she could reveal anything about "Avengers: Infinity War". In response, she really could not say anything more than sharing the relevant parts which start around 1:09.
Apart from Olsen, Dave Bautista also revealed that he was not able to read the whole script of the "Avengers: Infinity War". However, the former wrestler claimed that it was his personal choice not to read it. Then it was reported that "Spider-Man: Homecoming" star Tom Holland was more of a security risk with regards to revealing secrets which the directors would not even disclose Holland who he was fighting in a certain scene.
