Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Can Still Reconcile & Swing U-turn Amid Pending Divorce Proceedings
Previous reports claimed that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce proceedings are not moving forward since the couple announced their separation last year of September. It's been nearly a year already and the people are not noticing any change or development with the said legal battle.
With this, some were claiming that perhaps Jolie and Pitt will still have a change of mind and heart that's why they think it's best to not move on first with the divorce proceedings. The ex-couple might reconcile in the end and their relationship might take a U-turn for good.
Like the case of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, Pitt and Jolie might have opted to wait for a beat before continuing with the process of the legal battle. That beat may last for a year or it can also be forever as deciding for that divorce is not for them after all.
When she graced one of her interviews with Vanity Fair, the mother of 6, Jolie partially admitted that what contributed to her tough decision or divorce was Pitt's behavior. Then the actor also confessed with GQ Style that he had been drinking too much and he became disconnected emotionally prior to the split.
So far, the court did not release any dates for the trial of Jolie and Pitt's divorce proceedings. Moreover, it was reported that Brad committed himself to self-improvement as he also shared that he had quit drinking. In fact, he also found a new hobby as his form of therapy. These, according to reports, initiated a reevaluation of where the former couple is heading in terms of their relationship.
However, E! News reported that despite the slow movement and development of the case, Jolie and Pitt are not back together. It can be recalled that this is not the first time that these two A-list celebrities have turned out to be busy repairing the broken threads of their relationship. What's for sure is that they do not take the divorce lightly and they want to make sure that they are doing the right thing.
Jolie and Pitt may not be the first couple in Hollywood who give their fans a little false hope by not following through with the dissolution immediately. For one, Jennifer Garner did not file for divorce from Ben Affleck right away until two years of separation.
