Secret Tape Of Princess Diana’s Call To George Michael: She Confided Her Ugly Split From Charles & Unloving Royals
Reports were rife that Princess Diana spoke to George Michael before in a phone call in which she revealed her ugly divorce and split from Prince Charles as well as his unloving family. It was added that the singer called the princess last July of 1996 after just smoking cannabis and the call was then recorded by a voice machine at the singer's house.
Because of the secret tape and the recorded phone call, it was then revealed on The Sun that George became Diana's close confidant after all. With this, Mohamed Fayed also wished and hope that this will help solve the case over the death of his son.
In the said phone call, it can be heard that Diana was opening up about her ugly marriage split with George Michael. Apart from this, she even shared with the singer that the Royal Family is not very loving about her separation from the Britain's prince. Then after complaining about her problem and situation, she also joined the singer in taking the mickey out of Sir Elton John.
According to Mail Online, the recorded conversation also featured the Princess of Wales taking a swipe at the royals and gossiping about her experiences in the royal family. Besides, Diana was also heard joking about George playing gooseberry during a certain visit to Elton John and his partner. In fact, she even compared the shoe collection of Elton John to another footwear-mad former Philippines First Lady Imelda Marcos.
It was further revealed that the recorded tape was soon handed to George Michael's childhood friend, Andors Georgiou who was also in the house with the singer during the said conversation. It was reported that the singer gave this to him as a retirement gift.
Princess Diana was then heard in the phone call saying: "It's been pretty grim, but we're near the end of it. Not a very loving, compassionate family, this one I'm leaving". She first met George during a concert last 1989 and their relationship grew closer as her marriage with Prince Charles started to collapse.
