ABC's The Bachelor season 17 star Sean Lowe and his fiancé Catherine Giudici sat down on Wednesday for their first live interview together since their show's finale episode aired in March.

The couple appeared on Good Morning America and discussed the reaction to their celibacy vows, and what they have been up to since he was eliminated on Dancing With The Stars in May. Lowe told GMA that life with Giudici has been "wonderful" since he was eliminated on week 8 of the hit dance competition show.

"I went straight into Dancing With The Stars which was so much more time consuming than I thought it would be," he told GMA co-anchor Lara Spencer. "And now that that's over we have alot of time to hang out and explore Southern California and...be a couple."

Spencer asked Giuidici to share what she has learned about Lowe since they got engaged on reality TV, and to reveal something that has never been shared before. Giudici said she didn't get to spend as much time with Lowe after news of their engagement spread because he was busy rehearsing for DWTS. However, she "pretty much saw" how serious he is about caring for his dogs.

"He's such a good owner...a good doggy daddy," Giudici shared.

Spencer asked Lowe if he learned anything new about his bride-to-be since their engagement. He said he was so impressed with how "extra supportive" she was during his time on DWTS. She was more patient than he expected her to be when he was away for 10-hour day rehearsals.

"She stood by me the whole way which meant the world to me," Lowe said.

The GMA co-anchor then asked him if he was surprised to see the reaction from the public and the media about his announcement to not be intimate with Giudici until their honeymoon. Spencer said Lowe's fans "really connected" with his decision.

Lowe noticed that his decision seemed to be the topic that the "tabloids and media focus on the most" when it comes to reporting about him and Giudici, but he understands why.

"I guess it's because it's so uncommon these days," he said about the media response. "My faith has been the center of my life for a long time and it's the center of her life as well, and that's no secret. We are proud of that fact. We realize that it's viewed as kind of being weird these days, but we are not going to shy away from it. We are unapologetic."

Giuidici was asked to share details on their wedding plans and she shocked Spencer when she admitted she has yet to plan anything.

"I was never that girl to think about wedding-day details," Giudici, a graphic designer from Seattle, said. "We are thinking about having it in California and that's pretty much the extent of it at this point."
