'RHONJ' Season 8: Margaret Josephs Sued For Trademark Infringement [VIDEO]
Margaret Josephs is going to fit right in with her Real Housewives of New Jersey co-stars.
Ahead of next month's season eight premiere, fans are learning that the show's newest addition was recently faced with a lawsuit and accused of trademark infringement.
In 2014, as revealed by All About the Real Housewives on September 15, Joseph's lifestyle brand Macbeth Collection was sued for $12 million by Vineyard Vines and as of today, their case has not yet been closed. As the outlet revealed, In Touch Weekly magazine shared court documents from the lawsuit, which confirmed that Vineyard Vines had accused the new reality star's company of “trademark infringement.”
While a judge ultimately ruled in favor of Vineyard Vines and ordered Josephs to pay $300,000 in damages, Josephs doesn't appear to have paid the amount in full quite yet.
However, it seems that Margaret never paid the full amount.
“Margaret didn’t abide by the ruling,” Vineyard Vines lawyer Todd Sharinn told the magazine.
Below is Margaret Josephs' Bravo bio:
