American Horror Story is Back With Shocking Storyline
Fans of American Horror Story (AHS) were pretty happy after the release of the creepy teaser of the new season. The seventh season of the FX horror anthology premiered on September 5, 2017.
According to a report by E! News, the new season is called the Cult and it is back with Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, Frances Conroy, Mare Winningham, Emma Roberts, Chaz Bono, John Carroll Lynch and James Morosini.
The new season seems to be far away from reality and is terrifying viewers in all the craziest of ways. In the past, AHS, with its twisted concepts have won people over, but this time it seems that the concept has been taken to a whole new level altogether.
The new season revolves around the story of a couple Ally and Ivy who are married and have a son named Oz. Ally suffers from various kind of phobias. She gets aggravated after she learns that Donald Trump has won the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Her psychologist, Dr. Rudy Vincent, recommends a medicine to calm her phobia-induced anxiety.
Soon clowns start to stalk Ally, meanwhile, characters, Kai and Winter - who are siblings, make their entry and form a pact after Trump becomes president. Winter becomes Oz's nanny and attempts to desensitize him to violence. Ally and Ivy's neighbors, the Changs, are slaughtered by a group of clowns. The police rule out the incident as a murder-suicide.
The new season has already started to make an impact on viewers and they are seen getting highly creeped out. Earlier on Ellen DeGeneres show, Ellen pranked AHS star Sarah Paulson. First, DeGeneres spooked Paulson with a clown who happened "to be a guy dressed in a clown's outfit."
Previously the sixth season of American Horror Story "Roanoke" also created quite a stir and the co-creator of the show, Ryan Murphy had stated that this season of the series would be "more rogue" and "dark" in contrast to its previous cycle, Hotel.
