'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Star Teresa Giudice Husband Joe Cheated With Nanny, Says Source
On the heels of rumors that The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giuidice's husband, Joe Giudice, cheated on her in the past, a new report claims that he had an affair with their former nanny.
An insider revealed explosive details that Joe had an affair with the couple's ex-babysitter Nicole Cemelli to Life & Style in an article that was published June 5. The couple have four children- Gia, 12, Gabriella, 9, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 3.
Cemelli was hired to care for their kids when Teresa was busy promoting her books and attending scheduled publicity appearances. A source told the publication that the affair began after she was hired and that Joe and Cemelli often displayed PDA "even when Teresa was around."
"At first, Teresa was in total denial," the source said. "But another time, Nicole kissed Joe on the lips when she was in the room! Eventually, enough things were brought to her attention that she finally had to do something about it."
Cemelli stopped working for the couple in the summer of 2010, but the alleged affair didn't end there. Cemelli and Joe were photographed sitting close together in a booth at New York City's Hurricane Club restaurant on April 22, according to the bombshell report.
The insider said that when Teresa was shown the photo of Joe and Cemelli together, she defended her husband and said, "That's Joe's old secretary, who works in the city."
"He was in the city that day for other business meetings and he had met up with her after to go over some things," Teresa explained of her husband's hookup with their former nanny.
Life & Style recalled in the report that during the TRHONJ season 4 reunion special, Teresa's cast mate Jacqueline Laurita brought up the affair to everyone on-camera.
"Didn't he cheat on you a long time ago? That's what you told me," Laurita said, then explained the tale. "You told me...you walked in on your husband when he had someone on the desk in his office...you caught him with the secretary, babysitter."
During the season 4 reunion special, Joe repeatedly denied cheating on Teresa.
