Actress Ariel Winter's Mom Desperate to Reconcile With Daughter
Modern Family actress Ariel Winter's mother wants to patch up with her daughter and says that she wants to work things out between them.
Winter and Crystal Workman's relation went terribly wrong after the actress accused her mother of physical and emotional abuse. In an interview with Inside Edition, Workman addressed her daughter saying, "It's time to fix your relationship with your mom."
Crystal also mentioned that Winter is starving for attention from her and spoke about her daughter's provocative clothing which she said was a cry for help from her child. This came after, Winter was shamed on social media for her choice of clothing. She has come out wildly bashing body shamers and people who have criticized her sense of dressing.
Winter has been struggling a lot with her body, and she announced on Twitter that she was officially emancipated. She also underwent a breast reduction surgery in June 2015. Winter has been very outspoken about body shaming and has fearlessly slammed body shaming critics.
Meanwhile, Workman lost custody of Winter, who took her mother to court over abuse allegations, which she has always denied. Winter's sister was granted legal guardianship of her thereafter and Workman, since then was having financial trouble so she shifted to a storage facility. She had said that it was difficult for her that she was suffering a lot and her daughters knew about it.
Winter rose to fame with her role as Alex Dunphy in the very popular TV show "The Modern Family". She obtained her very first television role in an episode of Listen Up! and then there was no stopping for her. She did an array of roles in shows such as Freddie, Monk, Bones, and ER and also in the animated children's show Phineas and Ferb. Apart from TV shows, Winter has also acted in feature films like Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Speed Racer, Duress, Opposite Day, and Fred 2.
In 2016, Winter was accepted to University of California and on September 12, she made a decision that she will attend UCLA in fall 2017.
