Angelina Jolie Kids: Brad Pitt Focuses On Children Amid Her Divorce Interviews [VIDEO]
Angelina Jolie may be telling all about her split from Brad Pitt in her latest interviews, but according to a new report, Pitt is taking a different appraoch.
As Jolie continues to speak of her impending divorce and how it has impacted their six kids, including Maddox, 16, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and nine-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, a source claims Pitt is putting his focus towards his children and refusing to engage in a public war of words.
“Brad loves being a father and his focus is the kids and making sure he is always there for them,” a source close to Pitt told Hollywood Life on September 20. “Every decision he makes is for the well-being of his children. He is being very careful about not talking publicly about any of his disagreements with Angelina. Brad is totally fine and has not taken offense or been upset about anything Angelina has said about him in her interviews. Brad has never talked about the kids or has brought them into his legal bout with Angelina."
Jolie and Pitt tied the knot in August 2014 and parted ways one year ago. Since then, the former couple has been sharing time with their family in Los Angeles, where they both have homes in the Los Feliz neighborhood.
“He definitely sees the kids regularly and is actively involved in their lives and performing his duties as a father,” the source continued. “Brad refuses to get into a public mudslinging contest with Angelina. He made a commitment to the kids and if she wants to go down that road, he will not follow her lead no matter what she does or says about him.”
That said, Pitt remains supportive of Jolie's career and is actually a fan of her new movie, First They Killed My Father, which she filmed in Cambodia.
Pitt “is still very proud of Angelina’s latest film and thinks it is her best work yet. He has seen it and he has been telling friends what a great job Angelina did on the film. He’s been very supportive of everything surrounding Angelina’s project,” the insider added.
