Katie Holmes News: Tan Line [PHOTO], Bares It at Coach Summer Party on High Line in New York City
Katie Holmes stepped out in a white toga dress yesterday for Coach's Summer Party on the High Line, and the actress brought a few tan lines with her.
The event took place on the High Line in New York. An annual event for the last few years, the designer company recently donated $5 million to the elevated park where Hollywood stars got a jump start on the warm weather with a carnival-esque event, according to Vanity Fair. All the proceeds from the $175 tickets will be put back into the park, according to the Mirror.
Holmes made an appearance for the party and donned a toga style dress that hung loosely from her right shoulder. Her left shoulder, however, bore a pale thin tan line, evidence of recent fun in the sun. You can check out the ensamble here.
The 34-year-old is in New York shooting Mania Days with Luke Kirby. Holmes was joined at the party by Connie Briton of Nashville, according to Just Jared. In contrast to Tom Cruise's ex, Britton wore her hair down and donned a light blue dress.
Meanwhile, Holmes revealed that she likes to spend the warm days of summer engaging in a little baking, according to Vanity Fair.
"I like making pies in the summer," Holmes stated of her favorite summer pastime.
