Akon Vs 21 Savage: Social Media, A Potential Platform For Feuds
Social Media platforms can be potentially misused for feuds. The most recent one is the ongoing situation of Akon and 21 Savage's connection to Amber Rose.
In an incident what appears to be an aftermath of love and broken relationships, Akon and 21 Savage have been destined for a hate-hate relationship.
It all started with Akon posting, a comment saying 'trash' in response to an Instagram post on 21 Savage's official page. @! savage had posted a picture of himself walking in the rain with an umbrella, captioned, "Trust Nobody."
Akon rather took this personally and left an offending comment below the post that read 'trash'.
Some followers assumed the comment to be of bad taste and few even vouched for 21 Savage's innocence over his post. Many fans were left confused over the lack of information as to why Akon piled up his anger on 21 Savage.
The reason was unknown until lately, a report suggested that Akon had once dated actress Amber Rose and perhaps he is unhappy about the fact that Savage is seeing her.
Akon and Rose were involved in a romantic relationship a long time ago and the rapper wanted it to be a 'Friends with Benefits' sorta relationship to which Rose had blatantly refused, now Akon is accusing Savage of separating Rose from him, reported a source .
The mention of 'trash' must have had something to do with the above-stated reason but whatever the reason might be, Savage seemed to have turned a blind eye to Akon's lewd comment and his fans have taken over instead.
To the surprise of the Hip Hop star fans in response to 'trash' comment spewed venom and accused Akon of being a baby.
One said, "You were old when I was young, lol, wtf you doin [Akon]... #growuppeterpan."
There were several other comments, graphics which were posted by followers in support of Savage. Earlier in an interview, Amber Rose had admitted being in love and wanted to marry Savage.The duo's romance has been public for quite sometime now.
The two seem to be very serious about each other and Savage has already started bonding with Rose's family. Since then the couple has been glued to each other and perhaps are planning on taking the relationship to a serious level.
Meanwhile Rapper Akon was rumored to be getting cosy and intense with Nicole Bahls in 2010 after reports claimed Bahls' sister set the couple up.The singer is said to be having temper issues and known for his emotional impulsiveness. There were even news about his vivid belief in polygamy and was rumoured to have four wives. Although there were no such evidences to back the theory.
