Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth Relationship Rumors Addressed by Singer, Says She IS Engaged [VIDEO]
Miley Cyrus addressed rumors involving her relationship status with fiance Liam Hemsworth, telling a radio station she is in fact still engaged despite contrary reports.
The We Can't Stop singer partied with 19-year-old Justin Bieber over the weekend in California and reports claimed they were getting flirty with one another, while Hemsworth was nowhere to be found. See here photos of them hanging out at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles early Sunday morning. When a radio host asked Cyrus, 20, if there is any romance brewing between her and Bieber, she said "no" while adding that she is still engaged.
"I'm engaged. I'm engaged, that is impossible," she said, replying to rumors of "being more than friends" with Bieber.
Multiple sources reportedly told Us Weekly in late May that the couple ended their engagement, with one insider saying "they are definitely over." The couple met on the set of The Last Song in 2009 and got engaged in June 2012. Hemsworth 23, proposed with a 3.5-carat diamond ring.
Cyrus' song We Can't Stop premiered June 3 on On Air with Ryan Seacrest and in her radio interview, she said track's lyrics tell the story of where she is in her life now.
"Everyone always judges and says what they want, but my fans . . . have really stood by me no matter what I've been through . . . and this is a song that says where I'm at in my life right now," she explained. "I'm really happy with my record because I feel like I have so many options for singles. My record is like a movie. It's a story of what I've been going through the past two years."
On the track Cyrus sings about partying and not caring what others think.
"Can't you see it's we who own the night/Can't you see it we who bout' that life/And we can't stop," she says. "And we won't stop/We run things/Things don't run we/We don't take nothing from nobody."
