Giuliana Rancic Second Baby: Miss USA 2013 Host Says She Would 'Love Another Child'
E! Fashion Police host Giuliana Rancic is gearing up to host the Miss USA 2013 beauty pageant on Sunday and in a recent interview she expressed her desire to have another child.
Rancic revealed to Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday that she and her husband, Bill Rancic, have "definitely been thinking about" expanding their family. "We'd love another child, so we'll see."
The Ready For Love host said that as an Italian who comes from a large family, she would love to expand their brood sooner than later, but Bill is a skeptical.
"Anytime we have a rough time with Duke, he's like, 'What do you think about just one?'" she said. "I'm like 'Bill, I'm Italian, I need a big family,' I mean there's nothing more beautiful. I think you should have as many kids as you can handle."
She added, "Why not? I think that in the future, we'll be so glad that we had as many kids as we did."
She shared that Bill is such a great father that she thinks he is a better parent than she is sometimes.
"I think Bill is an excellent father- so loving," she told the news show. "There are times when I definitely think Bill is a better parent" she said, adding that instead of letting their child sit n front of the television, he "takes [Duke] out, tries to engage him and do whatever he can with him."
The celebrity couple welcomed their son Duke on Aug. 29 in a Denver hospital. Duke, the first child for both parents, was carried via a gestational carrier and weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and measured 20 inches.
Prior to his birth, Giuliana endured several failed IVF attempts and a miscarriage. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011 and later underwent a double mastectomy.
The couple has several projects in the works. Season 6 of Giuliana &Bill will air on E! in June.
Giuliana will co-host the 62nd annual Miss USA 2013 pageant at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Sunday, June 16. She will emcee the event with Nick Jonas.
The beauty pageant will broadcast live on NBC beginning at 9 p.m. EST.
