Demi Lovato's eBook Demi hit shelves Tuesday, offering fans behind-the-scene footage of the star's life and interviews that have never been previously released.

Another main factor of the e-book is the exclusive look into the recording process of her fourth studio album of the same name. The X Factor judge tweeted Tuesday about how "excited" she was for her eBook to be releaseed.

Clips from the eBook have been released, one in which Lovato discusses her album Demi, which was released in May.

"I wrote about personal experiences and became more candid about them," she said. "I also feel like my lyrics were more vulnerable, and I'm just really proud of how honest I was in this album."

In several songs, the vulnerability and the experiences she refers to are clearly emphasized. In Warrior she sings, "Out of the ashes, I'm burning like a fire. You can save your apologies, you're nothing but a liar. I've got shame, I've got scars, that I will never show."

In Shouldn't Come Back she sings, "Trying not to forget, should be easier than this, and all the birthdays you've missed, I was only a kid. Sorry I'm not sorry for the times I don't reply, you know the reason why."

The eBook, which contains a timeline of Lovato's accomplishments thus far, also puts emphasis on the former Disney star's vocals. In a clip she is seen belting the ballad In Case. The black-and-white footage, shows the 20-year-old displaying her strong vocal ability over just a piano playing in the background.

Cher Lloyd, who collaborated with Lovato on the song Really Don't Care from Demi, praised her vocals in an MTV interview.

"First of all, I love the song. Like, I really love the song," Lloyd said in May. "I mean, that girl can really sing, and it's so different. That's the thing, nowadays it's so important to be able to be recognized and to be on the radio and for people to know automatically it's you. And Demi has that and that's something I really look up to."

The eBook can be purchased here.
