Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson Split, Katy Perry 'Betrayed' "Twilight" Actress, Says Source
A friend of Kristen Stewart's has revealed that the On The Road actress feels "betrayed" by pop singer Katy Perry over her friendship with Stewart's ex Robert Pattinson.
The insider told Mail Onlinethat the 23-year-old feels "incredibly down right now and betrayed" as the rumors continue that Perry and Pattinson are dating in an article that was published Thursday.
Stewart and Perry ran into each other at the 2013 Met Gala Ball last month and the actress gave the pop singer a hug but she has since decided to cut all ties, said the source. She is so upset over the breakup that she "can't let go of Rob or get over him."
"She keeps trying to contact Robert and find out what he is doing but her attempts to see Rob have been rebuffed," the insider added. "Rob is not responding to her."
Pattinson and Perry have been spotted together on several occasions since he broke up with his Twilight co-star in mid-May. The pair was last seen in public together attending a Bjork concert at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on June 8. They arrived separately but sat together during the show, according to X17 Online.
The pair were first spotted together sans Stewart at a family wedding less than a week after he moved his things out of his ex's Los Feliz home. They were seen at the wedding rehearsal for Tanya Mayer, 23, and John Ricotta, 26 at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Calif on May 25.
"It was extra exciting for Tanya and John," a close family member of bride told People. "They were just sitting quietly and talking," the relative said of the time they spent together in the courtyard at the ranch. They watched everyone practice walking down the aisle for the nuptials held the next day on May 26.
"We were on the lawn nearby. We respected their privacy," added the insider.
A source told E! Online the next week that "nothing is going on between Rob and Katy."
"They are just super good friends. There is nothing romantic in it," said the source who added that "Rob is doing fine since the breakup" and "he is not particularly cut up about it or anything. He is doing just fine."
Pattinson leaned on another female friend for support the first time he ended the relationship with Stewart. TAcademy Award-winning actress Reese Witherspoon who co-starred with Pattinson in Like Water For Elephants allowed him to stay at her Ojai, Calif. home last summer. Her home became his hideout after Us Weekly published photos of Stewart exhibiting heavy PDA with Rupert Sanders, who directed her in Snow White and the Huntsman.
