Selena Gomez Mom Gives Birth to Baby Girl, Mandy Teefey Makes Singer a Big Sister [PHOTOS]
Selena Gomez's mother Mandy Teefey gave birth to a baby girl Wednesday at a hospital in Northridge, Los Angeles, with her husband Brian Teefey by her side.
Friends and family members were spotted arriving at the hospital to visit Mandy and the new baby, according to photos posted to Splash News. One visitor brought a balloon with the message "New Little Princess." See a photo here.
Mandy divorced Gomez's father, Ricardo Gomez, when the pop singer was just 5-years-old and remarried Brain in 2006. The Come & Get It singer revealed news of her mother's pregnancy via a Twitter message to her fans on Mother's Day.
"Momma and Brian are finally letting me share the news...My mommy's carrying my baby brother or sister :) I'm the happiest girl in the world!" she tweeted, following by a photo with of her and her mother captioned, "I have the best momma in the world :)) I love you so much!"
The 20-year-old was also recently spotted out with her pregnant mother at the ArcLight cinema in Hollywood, according to Daily Mail. Selena walked arm-in-arm with Mandy with her stepfather walked in front of them after the trio watched The Great Gatsby.
Mandy and Brian miscarried during her last pregnancy in December 2011. At the time Selena cancelled her scheduled concerts in Chicago and Seattle to fly home to be with her mother, according to the news report. The baby girl born Thursday makes Selena a first-time big sister.
