Tyrese Showed His Daughter Affection, But Now He's Paying for it
Tyrese can't seem to catch a break these days.
The "Sweet Lady" singer reportedly tried to show his only daughter, Shayla, love while she was in school today. Unfortunately, the grand scene backfired on him as his ex-wife and mother of his daughter is obtaining a restraining order against him.
The banner simply stated: "No Matter What, Daddy Loves You Shayla", and was attached to a plane that allegedly Tyrese hired to fly over her school on Monday.
TMZ reports that Norma Gibson filed the restraining because of the current temporary restraining order that prohibits Tyrese from contacting Shayla or Norma.
Norma's attorney, Aleen Laura Khanjian, has also stated that Tyrese sent Shayla 'gifts', such as teddy bears and fruit baskets. Khanjian continued by elaborating that she believes this to be a plan to 'intimidate' Shayla if she is called to testify against her father.
Tyrese has had his fair share of mishaps recently. His ex-wife has accused him of allegedly abusing their daughter, by excessively and unnecessarily 'spanking' her. Since the allegations came to light, Gibson has vehemently denied any sort of misconduct in regards to the 10 year-old. The singer and actor has gone as far as to say that his ex-wife is bitter, jealous of his new marriage, and is only using their daughter against him.
Tyrese has also been in a somewhat feud with his costar, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, after it was announced that The Rock and Jason Statham will be costarring in a 'Fast & Furious' spin-off movie. Though The Rock has blatantly ignored his costars antics, it didn't stop Tyrese from verbally attacking and denouncing The Rock, going as far as calling him a 'clown' and stating he destroyed the fast 'family'.
The Rock took to social media, not to address Tyrese, but to simply encourage the fans: "My goal from day 1 was to come in and create an exciting/fun character for the fans, elevate the franchise and build it out," The Rock Tweeted.
Vin Diesel, the movie's leading man, offered his support of The Rock, in spite of making the situation worse: "I know there has been a lot of speculation as to why the Fast 9 release date was pushed... but it would be unfair to say it is anyone's fault. As we plot the course to expand the Fast & Furious universe, one must be mindful to take stock of the roads we took to get here. The pillars of authenticity, family and most importantly, our loyal Fan's perspective has been instrumental in procuring success. However, like any vehicle that has run around the globe 8 times, the franchise is in need of maintenance. My good friend and the godfather of Universal, Ron Meyer has granted me the time to do just that. We have some very exciting news to share soon... stay tuned. Yours truly, Dom", he posted on Instagram.
Tyrese has since shimmered down and away from The Rock (for now), which is best since he may have more important things to worry about.
