Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton: Could Be She's Ready To Have Blake Shelton's Baby? [VIDEO]
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are reportedly hoping to have a child of their own by Christmas of next year.
According to a new report, Stefani, 48, and Shelton, 41, who began dating about two years ago, are currently juggling their careers in addition to life at home with Stefani's three kids, 11-year-old Kingston, nine-year-old Zuma, and three-year-old Apollo, as they allegedly make room for one more addition.
Stefani and Shelton “will get married one day,” a Shelton insider revealed to US Weekly Magazine on October 25th, “but right now they are hyper-focused on getting pregnant.”
“They believe there is still a chance for Gwen,” the Shelton source explained. “They are incredibly hopeful.”
Stefani welcomed her youngest child, son Apollo, three years ago, just a short time before she filed for divorce from husband Gavin Rossdale after 13 years of marriage. Meanwhile, Shelton has no children of his own, despite marriages to Kaynette Williams and Miranda Lambert.
“Blake told Gwen he does want kids of his own and Gwen was willing to try. With her, Blake has the exact relationship and family life he’d hoped to have with Miranda. Gwen’s everything he wants,” the insider continued.
“Gwen and Blake started talking quickly about having a baby,” a close Shelton confidante.
According to the report, Stefani and Shelton have been trying for a baby since last year but so far, Stefani has not gotten pregnant. Instead, as the insider added, “starting a family has not been easy for them... It’s something that they really want and it’s just not working out the way they wanted it to.”
“The struggle they’re facing is making them stronger,” the Shelton insider added. “They are so committed to one another and protective of one another.”
Stefani and Shelton's romance began on the set of 'The Voice' in 2015 and has been going strong ever since. In fact, just last year, the couple released a duet, "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," which they premiered on an episode of 'The Voice' season 10.
Both Stefani and Shelton went through divorces months before their relationship began and because of that, they bonded over their similar circumstances.
