LaLa Anthony Wedding: Carmelo Says He's 'Waiting' For His Wife Amid Marital Woes
Carmelo Anthony took his attempts to get his wife, LaLa Anthony, back.
The NBA star commented on LaLa’s post in which she showed off her Halloween costume Tuesday.
“I’m waiting,” he wrote.
The two have reportedly been on the outs for months after rumors swirled that he had a love child with an exotic dancer. Still, he hasn’t stopped trying to get back in his wife’s good graces. And this isn’t the first time Carmelo has taken to social media to shout out LaLa since the trouble in paradise became the center in headlines.
He also shared a photo of LaLa and their son Kiyan, 10, together on Sept. 25.
“You can’t really share who you are with the world ignoring the pieces that make up who you are as an individual,” The wind cannot destroy a tree with strong roots!!! My true victory in life @LaLA and My Young God… THANK YOU for holding me down and being the true definition of what STRENGTH is,” he wrote as a caption.

It might be safe to say he’s not slowing down anytime soon when it comes to expressing his love and affection for his wife. But one insider said LaLa isn’t in a rush to get back to the old days with Carmelo.
“LaLa is going to take as much time as she needs and Carmelo is fine with that because he’s using the time to win her back,” one insider told Hollywood Life Wednesday. “As long as it’s not a ‘no,’ he has the chance to make it a ‘yes.’ He’s up for the challenge, and has made it very clear that he wants her back and will wait as long as she needs.”
Carmelo and LaLa married in a star-studded wedding in 2010. They celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary over the summer. No word on if they actually celebrated with one another considering they have reportedly been on the outs since April.
Fans got a close look at their lives on VH1’s reality show LaLa’s Full Court Life that documented her experiences as a wife to an NBA star, a mother, a friend, and a woman who is very family-oriented.
LaLa said she has zero plans to divorce Carmelo.
