It has been a couple of years since Malaysia Pargo filed for divorce from her now ex-husband and the father of her three children, Janerro Pargo. Now, the Basketball Wives star has confessed that she regrets pulling the plug on her relationship.

Pargo made an appearance on Couples Court and attempted to offer a bit of advice to one couple who was heading down the same path.

“I think that if you guys went to counseling you could make it work,” said Pargo. “That is one of the things that I wish I would have done… is step back, go to counseling… because right now to this day we still very much love each other. So before you walk away. Make sure that you do not love him.”

Malaysia filed for divorce in 2014. The split was finalized two years later.

While the two have gone their separate ways, Malaysia has said in the past that they are still on great terms as she dished on going through the split on national television.

“…Was I nervous to talk about it? Yes I was,” said Pargo during an interview with OK! Magazine back in 2015. “I didn’t want anyone to look at him negative. I didn’t want anyone to put my business out in the streets. But everyone knew I was married, and I was never going to lie. I’m known for keeping it one hundred, so I just needed to share that. It was kind of therapeutic to just kind of like get it out without getting it out. Like I’m still missing my ex. He’s still my friend. And we still have three children, so I’m respecting him at all cost with it.”

She also revealed she suffered an inner battle with herself before she actually filed. She said she prayed and fasted and “did everything” she knew to do before the decision because her marriage and friendship with Janerro meant so much to her. The two were married for ten years.

Fans met Malaysia on the first season of Basketball Wives LA. She’s starred in the popular series since then despite the many changes it has seen. The latest round included the addition of Evelyn Lozada, who was originally in the Miami franchise. Tami Roman and Shaunie O’Neal came over from Miami the season before.
