'Tamar And Vince' Season 5: Herbert Doesn't Want To Let Go Of Braxton, Wants Counseling [VIDEO]
While news is out that Tamar Braxton has filed for divorce from her husband, major music executive Vincent Herbert, word is that he isn’t ready to call it quits just yet. In fact, he wants to go to counseling in attempt to fix their marital woes.
Insiders have revealed that Herbert believes their marriage is not beyond repair. He hopes they can go to a professional to sort out their issues.
Even though Braxton asked a judge to grant her primary custody of their son, Logan, Herbert reportedly doesn’t want to have that conversation as he hopes they ultimately won’t need it, TMZ reported Friday.
Meanwhile, Braxton has been quiet on social media since news hit that she filed for an official split. But her sisters, Trina and Towanda Braxton have been talking plenty.
TMZ caught up with the famous sisters when they arrived in Los Angeles just after news spread that Braxton was ending her marriage.
They didn’t hold back when it came to speaking on the split.
“We might have a divorce party, you never know,” Towanda said as she pointed out four out of the five sisters, Towanda, Trina, Toni, and now Tamar, have gotten divorced. The only sister who is still married is the second-oldest, Traci Braxton.
Trina, who is the most recent sister to go through a divorce with her now ex-husband Gabe Solis, added, “Just make sure it’s something that you want to do because nobody wins in divorce.”
They also spoke on speculation that Herbert and Tamar’s marriage started to go downhill after she was fired from The Real last year.
“This has been a long, long, long, long situation that’s going to be revealed, probably, on Braxton Family Values,” said Towanda.
While she didn’t unveil the nature of the “situation,” she did say that there were multiple “incidents” that Herbert had and that he attempted to “cover it up.”
Trina then stepped in and made it clear that the sisters aren’t necessarily rejoicing about Tamar’s tough decision.
“We’re going to be there for her, 100 percent.”
A rep for Tamar confirmed the split on Oct. 25.
“At this time we can confirm Ms. Braxton has made an extremely difficult decision has filed the divorce from Vincent Herbert. Collectively, their son Logan and his well-being during this extremely unfortunate process is more important. We ask that everyone respects her privacy during this incredibly difficult time. She appreciates everyone’s love and prayers.”
Fans will get another inside look at Braxton and Herbert’s downfall when Tamar and Vince return for its fifth season on WeTV Thursday at 9/8c.
