Shannon Beador's Divorce Was Hinted At During The Latest Episode Of 'RHOC' Season 12
Shannon Beador revealed her husband David had “checked out” of their marriage during Monday night's new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County season 12.
On the show, the Beadors, who were married for 17 years before splitting last month, discussed the idea of attending a launch party for Meghan King Edmonds' candle line. During their tense conversation, Shannon became frustrated with David for his non-committal attitude.
“The truth about the state of my marriage is that it’s not good,” Shannon Beador said, according to a Nov. 6 report by People magazine. “I just want to know how David feels because living in this limbo, it’s kind of a form of torture. I just want to know.”
She went on to say that if her husband is truly done with her, he should say that and leave.
Later on the episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Beador was seen meeting with her hormone specialist, Dr. Lee, and during their meeting, Beador said it had “been a long while” since she and her husband were intimate. However, she also said that she didn't have a low libido and blamed her lack of intimacy on her husband, who she claimed had a low libido.
Beador confirmed she and David, who engaged in an affair with another woman years ago, were getting divorced at the end of last month in a statement.
“It’s heartbreaking for me and my daughters that this is the road that had to be taken but it’s the only way,” Beador said of her split. “I felt alone in my marriage. You can do what you can to keep your family together, but you have to have willing parties. You need two people to make a marriage work, and that just wasn’t happening in our relationship.”
Days after confirming her split, Beador and her husband were spotted attending a college football game with their children, including oldest daughter Sophia, 16. The couple also shares 13-year-old twin daughters Stella and Adaline.
