'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Season 10: Porsha Williams Defends Phaedra Parks, Are They Friends Again?
Porsha Williams of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta has defended her friend turned arch nemesis Phaedra Parks. The two ladies fell out after Parks was caught in a major lie at the end of the ninth season of popular reality series.
A Frick And Frack Reunion Coming Soon?
In the latest round between the two, Williams actually defended the Frick to her Frack during an episode of Dish Nation. Williams is a co-host for the radio and television show.
The topic of conversation was actor Shemar Moore denying any relationship or romance with Parks. Rumors swirled that Parks and Moore were an item after Parks gave Moore a special shout out on Instagram.
It didn’t take long for Moore to shut down the rumors that followed. He made it clear he only met Parks once when the two were guests on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live last year. He maintained that he hadn’t seen her since then and that he was determined to focus on his career and not his love life.
Porsha Williams Defends Phaedra Parks, Claps Back At Shemar Moore
Williams didn’t care too much for what Moore had to say and offered up her own response on Dish Nation.
“Why did he have to bring up Phaedra?” asked Williams. “She ain’t say she was dating him. Who goes online to say you’re not dating a beautiful woman. She got a job, she got money.” Her co-host, rapper Da Brat, chimed in and said Moore most likely wanted to clear the air and not allow rumors to prolong and take on a life of their own if they’re not true.
But that didn’t convince Williams that Moore’s statement was wrong. She maintained that it was unnecessary for Moore to name drop Parks during his mini rant on social media.
History Of Their Friendship
Williams and Parks had a budding friendship since Williams joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta in its fifth season. Parks joined the show in season 3. The ladies became close after they were the two of the single women on the show following Williams’ split from her now ex-husband Kordell Stewart and Parks’ divorce from Apollo Nida.
While their friendship seemed unbreakable, it fell apart on the final part of the season 9 reunion special. The entire season, Parks and Williams feuded with Kandi Burrus. Williams told Burruss that she caught wind of speculation that Burruss wanted to sexually assault her. Once Williams revealed that Burruss hit her with a cease-and-desist at the reunion, she also said it was Parks who told her the news about Burruss. That marked the end of their friendship as fans know it.
Interestingly enough, Parks and Burruss were even closer at one point. Parks was even a bridesmaid in Burruss' wedding to Todd Tucker. Still, after the drama Parks was not invited to return to the show for season 10.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays on Bravo at 8/7c. Keep up with Enstars for the latest.
