How Will Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Celebrate Thanksgiving?
Gwen Stefani is reportedly planning for an over-the-top Thanksgiving celebration with her boyfriend, country singer and fellow The Voice coach Blake Shelton.
According to a new report, Stefani is ready to make this year's holiday one for the books despite the ongoing promotion for her new Christmas album You Make It Feel Like Christmas.
“Gwen is planning an epic, country celebration for her kids and Blake,” an insider told Hollywood Life on Nov. 22. “She’s coordinating the whole thing for her and Blake’s families. She’s putting together tons of food, and has even talked to Blake’s family to find out his favorite traditional Thanksgiving foods because she wants to surprise him with some country classics.”
The insider said that Stefani would be treating her guests to caramelized yams with toasted marshmallows, creamy macaroni and cheese, and buttermilk biscuits.
“She will be serving at least ten pies, and a ham with a sweet whiskey sauce, which is Blake’s favorite,” the insider revealed. “Gwen is determined to make this Thanksgiving extra special for Blake, her kids and for the entire family.”
Gwen Stefani Has Been Busy Promoting Her New Album
In addition to appearing on the Today show, where she admitted that at least one of her tracks was inspired by her love for Shelton, Stefani performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. She also visited New York City to film her upcoming holiday special. Stefani pre-taped her performance for Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Tuesday.
As Stefani tends to her holiday duties in New York City, her boyfriend of over two years, Shelton, has been in Los Angeles, filming the live episodes of The Voice season 13 with his co-stars Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson, and Carson Daly.
What's Next For Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton?
Although Stefani and Shelton aren't engaged at this point, their frequent and loving comments about one another seem to suggest that an engagement could happen at any time. There also seems to be a chance that the couple may conceive a child together in the near future. While Stefani already has three children, including 11-year-old Kingston, 9-year-old Zuma, and 3-year-old Apollo, Shelton doesn't yet have any children of his own.
