Royal Engagement Imminent: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Preparing To Walk Down The Aisle?
Prince Harry and girlfriend Meghan Markle are going to get engaged soon if latest speculation is anything to go by.
According to recent reports, the engagement is imminent and Harry could get down on one knee to propose marriage to his ladylove any day now with the ring he commissioned using diamonds from a brooch that belonged to his late mother Princess Diana.
Things seem to be getting pretty serious between Prince Harry and Markle. The couple made their first public appearance together at the Invictus Games two months ago and Markle also attended the closing ceremony of the event along with her mother Doria.
Betting Suspended On Royal Engagement
According to the Evening Standard, BBC has reportedly been primed for some major royal news in the coming days. That, combined with the fact that bookmakers have suspended betting on Harry and Markle's royal engagement, it's safe to say that it could be happening soon.
"All bets are off when it comes to Harry and Meghan walking down the aisle next year," Jessica Bridge, spokeswoman for the betting company Ladbrokes told the Evening Standard. "With the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge already expecting their third child, fans will be overjoyed at the prospect of two new arrivals into the royal family next year."
Markle Has Moved To London
Markle, who plays the role of Rachel Zane on Suits, has already wrapped up filming for her final episode in Toronto last week. She has also moved out of her Toronto residence, put the house up for sale, started the process of moving her dogs to the U.K., and has already arrived in London to be closer to her 33-year-old beau.
The 36-year-old actress will reportedly be moving into Harry's two-bedroom cottage in Kensington Palace so that she can spend more time with him.
"She is planning to make a full-time [move] over to the U.K," royal correspondent Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight. "I would say this is probably the most significant thing to happen yet in their relationship."
When Is The Wedding?
A source told US Weekly that although a date for the royal wedding has not yet been set, it will take place in the summer. Another insider revealed to the publication that the couple will tie the knot in late June and Markle is "really excited about starting a new chapter with Harry."
