Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Relationship Gets Stronger Amid Her Parents' Divorce? She Needs Him 'More Than Ever' [PHOTOS]
Following announcement of her parents' divorce, Miley Cyrus turned to fiance Liam Hemsworth now more than ever for support during the difficult time after the news hit her hard, a source told Hollywood Life.
The 20-year old We Can't Stop singer is reportedly "praying" for her parents and is very upset over the news since she is dealing with her own problems with Hemsworth. She and the Hunger Games actor have been at the center of breakup rumors for some time now, though she confirmed in a June radio interview that she is in fact still engaged.
"Miley needs Liam more than ever right now - she's a very sensitive girl and very close to both her parents so I'm sure she's devastated over this," the source said. "Billy and Tish have had their ups and downs for sure; the last few months they've spent a lot of time apart but I know she was praying that it would all work out. This has got to be Miley's worst nightmare - to be going through her own issues with Liam and then to have her parents split - what could be sadder?"
Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus announced their split this month, citing irreconcilable differences. Tish filed for divorce on June 13. In addition to Miley, the also has two children, Braison and Noah. Tish asked for full physical and legal custody of Noah, requested for spousal support and for Bill Ray to pay her attorney's fees
Noah, 13, is also finding the divorce tough. She tweeted on June 14, "Please pray for me and my family. Xxo."
Miley has not posted a Twitter message about the divorce but did focus on family in two photos she uploaded to the social media website. In one image, posted on June 15, she poses with her sister and mother, captioning the shot "the baddest b--ches in the world." In a second picture posted that same day she stands next to her mother and strikes a pose for the camera.
