Matt Baier's Wife Speaks Out After Las Vegas Wedding
Matt Baier and Jennifer Conlon got married days ago and now, the Teen Mom OG star's new wife is speaking out.
Days after their wedding in Las Vegas, Conlon, a mother of two, gushed over her marriage to the former fiance of longtime reality star Amber Portwood.
“When you meet somebody and you have a connection, you know it in your heart,” 35-year-old Conlon revealed to Radar Online on Nov. 30. “It’s not something you question. It felt right to us. Getting married is something we wanted. We decided it was time, so he asked me to marry him.”
According to the report, Baier and Conlon met one another at a restaurant in Las Vegas after Baier moved to the area after his split from Portwood in July. As fans of Teen Mom OG may recall, Portwood dumped Baier after he appeared to be caught lying about his alleged cheating during a lie detector test earlier this year. Then, for weeks, the now-ex-couple attempted to save their relationship while filming Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars in Los Angeles.
Matt Baier Is a Wonderful Man
While Baier certainly wasn't always painted in the best light on Teen Mom OG, Conlon said she didn’t watch the show at all. That said, she also insisted that Baier wasn't a bad guy.
“Matt is a wonderful man,” she said. “What people think of him and how he’s portrayed, that’s not the man he truly is. He is everything and more. He’s generous and loving. It’s unfortunate that people think differently. Matt is a good man, yet he gets attacked in a way I don’t understand. That’s not the person in front of me. His actions don’t show that.”
Throughout his career in the spotlight, Baier has been accused of having at least nine children with seven different women and has also faced claims of infidelity. However, as Conlon noted, Baier's past has nothing to do with their relationship.
