'Big Brother 15' Cast & Spoilers: New House Guests to be Revealed Thursday? [VIDEO]
The Big Brother 15 cast will be announced on Thursday according to new reports over the weekend.
Six days before the premiere of Big Brother 15, the supersized cast will be announced to the world with exclusive interviews for each contestant. Though most sources are confirming that it will be an all-new cast, there has not been an official announcement made by CBS or the show's producers.
Enstars previously reported that the Big Brother 15 cast will be the biggest ever, extending beyond the record of 16 set by Big Brother 9 and Big Brother 14. In early May, host Julie Chen announced on The Talk that there would be more houseguests than ever before. Additionally, the houseguests will be inside for 100 days, making it the longest season since the show's inception in 2000.
On June 13, CBS released new promotional pictures of Chen in a yellow sweater, smiling wide behind a white fence. In one shot, Chen held a Big Brother cue card while smiling deviously. Chen revealed last week that the new twist of the season would make it a "no-floater summer."
As for those looking to prepare for the new season, former reality contestant and current podcast host Rob Cesternino hosted a Big Brother Jeopardy contest on Sunday. Big Brother 14 winner Ian Terry faced off against similarly minded Big Brother "superfans" in "the ultimate test of Big Brother trivia." With only nine days left until the premiere of Big Brother 15, many are beginning to lose patience, according to TV Grapevine. There have been very few details released about the new season, which they compare to other shows that have promotional details released in the weeks (and even months) before the show's premiere.
Regardless, the wait will soon be over when the cast is released on Thursday.
Big Brother 15 premieres on Wednesday, June 26 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
