Congratulations are in order for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and girlfriend, Lauren Hashian. The couple has a second baby on the way.

The Announcement

Christmas came early for the Baywatch star and Hashian as the actor took to Instagram on Monday, Dec. 11, to announce that they were expecting their second child together.

The 45-year-old made the baby announcement by posting an adorable picture of his two-year-old daughter, Jasmine, happily sitting underneath a Christmas tree. Not only did Johnson announce that he was going to be a father for the second time, but he also revealed the gender of the baby.

"Our Jasmine Lia would like to make a big announcement — IT'S A GIRL," Johnson captioned the photo. "[Lauren Hashian] and I are boundlessly grateful for this blessing as this spring we'll welcome our second baby."

"Plus, Jazzy is excited to boss around and protect her lil' sis," he added. "And once again, big daddy is completely surrounded by beautiful estrogen and loving, powerful female mana."

A Big Happy Family

Johnson and Hashian, 33, have been in a relationship for nearly a decade and welcomed Jasmine in December 2015 with another cute Instagram post. On Jasmine's first birthday, Johnson posted a video of himself singing her a happy birthday song on the social media platform.

He has a 16-year-old daughter named Simone Garcia Johnson from his previous marriage to producer Dany Garcia. Simone was recently named as the 2018 Golden Globes Ambassador, a rebranded title bequeathed to the daughters and sons of Hollywood celebrities.

He concluded his baby announcement by pointing out that he was going to be the only man in the family and "wouldn't have it any other way."

An Eventful Week For Johnson

Johnson has a lot going for him this week. The former WWE wrestler's upcoming film Jumanji arrives in theaters on Dec. 20, but its pre-release screenings have already managed to win over critics. The film has received an 83 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The actor is also going to be honored with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday, Dec. 13, as previously reported.

"Not only does Dwayne have a great personality and talent, but he also does a great amount of philanthropic work which is part of the criteria for earning an immortal spot on the Walk of Fame," producer of Walk of Fame ceremonies, Ana Martinez, told Variety. "We envision scores of photos being taken at his star by his fans."
