'Big Brother 15' Spoilers: Julie Chen Reveals New House Including New Living Room Set Up [PHOTOS & VIDEO]
Exclusive photos and videos of the new Big Brother house have been released, revealing a drastically different look from seasons past.
Host Julie Chen gave an exclusive tour of the new house in a video posted on Tuesday. In the video, Chen described the new house as "mid-century chic", citing influences set in the'60s like Mad Men and Pan Am.
There are various props around the house, such as a fireplace and a typewriter, but they are merely part of the design and do not actually function. The house even features former runway lights in the lounge, with airplane imagery plastered on the walls.
The color scheme is mostly black, red and gray, with one wall featuring bold red arrows pointing upward on a black background. Other walls feature a succession of arrows pointing in the same direction. The arrow pointing tables in the kitchen seem to confirm that it will be one of the big themes of the season.
Perhaps the most intriguing element of the new house is the living room arrangement. Usually, there are two long perpendicular couches with two nomination chairs "connecting" them, but this year there seems to be a smaller couch in between.
"What's missing?" Chen teased, "The two nominations chairs."
She went on to say that this was part of a new twist this year but that was all she could say.
Storey, who has worked on designing each Big Brother house since season six, said that he designed the house to look "masculine," "sophisticated" and "grown-up" this time around, adding, "I worked very closely with [executive producers] Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan. It's a two-way conversation. I usually come to them with suggestions of what I want to do that year."

Chen teased viewers in the latest promo released Monday: "Big Brother is back with a twist so big, we'll need your help to pull it off. Oh but wait, there's more. "You'll impact the game like never before." It seems that the new living room set up and the new interactive twist could be intertwined.
The new cast is expected to be announced on Thursday.
Big Brother 15 premieres at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26 on CBS.
