After releasing her fourth album in May and gearing up for another season of X Factor USA as a judge, Demi Lovato is set to take the stage for Philly Fourth of July Jam, America's largest free concert.

Drawing over 600,000 attendees each year, Philly Jam is dubbed as the largest free concert in America. In honor of its 20th year in production, VH1 & Palladia have teamed up with the city to air a live broadcast of the free concert and fireworks show to over 95 million homes on Thursday, July 4th from 8-11 p.m. ET.

Having 4 albums debut in the top 5 for the US Billboard 200 chart, Lovato will be part of a line up of performances by some of the music industry's brightest names, John Mayer, Grace Potter, Ben Taylor, Ne-Yo, J. Cole and more in celebration of America's birthday.

Also joining Lovato and others will be hometown heroes, The Roots, Jill Scott and Marsha Ambrouis. The Roots will also serve as the house band for the Fourth of July Jam.

As recently announced by Vh1, actor and comedian, Kevin Hart, will head back to his hometown to play the host for the event. A preview of what to expect can be seen in a hilarious video with Quest Love and Black Thought of The Roots.

Lovato will perform her hit singles, Heart Attack and Skyscraper as well as some of her other famous hits. The performance along with the entire event can be streamed live on the VH1 website.

Philadelphia's live entertainment, festivals, and events during the summer months have become an increasing popular destination for concert -goers and tourists across the nation. Philly Jam is anticipated to be far larger than other popular music festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. Philly Jam will precede the 6th annual Taste of Philadelphia open-air food festival that commences on July 5th and the 2nd Annual Budweiser Made in America Festival. Wawa Welcome America! is a multi-day festival that celebrates America's birthday in America's birthplace, Philadelphia.

The festival has hosted an array of performers over the years and has helped cement Philadelphia as one of the destinations to be at for Fourth of July.
