As America waited to find out who would be crowned the winner of season 4 of The Voice, viewers were treated to performances by some of season's former competitors.

Team Usher's Josiah Hawley and Vedo paired up with Team Shakira's Kris Thomas and Garrett Gardner in order to take the audience back in time for a classic Motown performance.

Much to Usher's delight, the one-time competitors took the stage in classic Motown attire. Donning suits and dress hats, the foursome embraced the genre's traditions and introduced each other and gave a suave spin before launching into their rendition of Ain't To Proud To Beg by The Temptations.

Released in 1966, the song proved to be just as popular with today's crowd. Although an older track, the tune seemed to be well known by most of the studio audience. If it wasn't, the young men's performance aspect more than made up for anyone's unfamiliarity with the lyrics.

While Usher danced in his seat, the moment was bitter sweet for Shakira. With Michelle Chamuel still in the running for Team Usher, Team Shakira no longer has any contestants still in the program. However. The former contestants did their coach proud and elicited cheers form the crowd.
