A video of Rihanna hitting a fan in the face with her microphone, as she performed at a UK concert on Monday, went viral yesterday.

In the 23-second video below, Rihanna, 23, is seen jumping off the stage at the LG Arena in Birmingham, while singing We Found Love at one of her shows in Birmingham. As she walked with security on the ground floor past her concert attendees, one fan stuck his hand out and grabbed her jacket and tugged at it a few times. When he didn't release her after several pulls, Rihanna turned around and hit the unidifentified fan with her microphone.

When Rihanna hit the fan in the face off-camera, the sound of the impact can be heard in the video, which went viral after it was published on Rundown.com on Tuesday.

Rihanna later revealed on Twitter that the incident wasn't an accident.

Mirror UK reported that an eyewitness shared the account on Twitter:

"[Rihanna] just hit someone with her mic on accident haha oops," the eyewitness said.

According to the report published on Wednesday, Rihanna replied, "Purpose! That bitch won't let me go,"to which the fan responded, "How can you hit a fan that was excited too see you? Don't go too the crowd if you don't expect too be grabbed, fans made you."

The incident reportedly occurred the same night Rihanna arrived on stage more than two hours late.

According to Radar Online, Rihanna was seen partying with British model Cara Delevigne on Sunday night at Bouij's nightclub until 3 a.m. Monday. The two celebs were also accompanied by Rihanna's brother Rorrey Fenty and her assistant Melissa Forde. Delevigne was reportedly seen exiting the club with a white powder substance on her pants, according to the report.

When Rihanna failed to arrive on stage at 8 p.m., concertgoers at the LG Arena vented their frustration on Twitter, while they waited on her arrival, which didn't happend until 10:30 p.m.

""£60 a ticket and @rihanna turns up late, druggie b***h," wrote one user on Twitter according to the Mirror report.

And another tweeted, "Let's play a game called 'how late will Rihanna be'! Place your bets now using #RihannaNeedsAWatch."
