'Walking Dead' Season 4 Spoilers: Rick To Regain His Moral Compass Amid Increase In Prison Group's SIze? VIDEO
Seemingly due to its long hiatus, fans of AMC's The Walking Dead continue to aggressively search for the latest info on the zombie series' fifth season, which is set to launch in the fall.
One of the topics that's undoubtedly on the minds of most loyalists is whether Rick (Andrew Lincoln) can continue to restore his sanity for the well being of the now massive prison group.
Executive producer and comic book writer Robert Kirkman had addressed Rick's future character development to The Hollywood Reporter in April, and it seems as though the leader's moral compass will be back intact.
"This is the moment where Rick takes a turn; he's no longer going to be pushing people away, he's no longer going to be doing whatever he can to protect these people in ways that hurt other people. He's not going to be the guy who would leave that guy on the side of the road - the backpack guy in Episode 12," he said.
One cause of conflict on the TV series lies between Rick and his son Carl (Chandler Riggs), who has seemingly become more like a mini Governor than his own father.
"He's letting the people of Woodbury in and trying to tell Carl that these people are like us, you have to be open to this and the only way to survive in this world is to have people be in a community. That's going to be a big part of Season 4," Kirkman added.
AMC's The Walking Dead will be kicking off on Sunday, October 13 at 9/8 p.m. Central. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the hit zombie series. Get an inside look at the fourth season below!
