Amid a slew of actresses being mentioned for the groundbreaking part of Anastasia Steele in the 50 Shades movie running, actress/singer Selena Gomez has now surfaced as a potential suitor.
Hollywood Life reported that the 20-year-old former Disney star is now willing to take on roles that involve nudity, which is certainly right up the 50 Shades alley.
"Now that Selena is growing up to be a more serious actress and separating herself from her Disney past, she has no problem going topless if the role calls for it. Without a doubt, Selena would go topless in a film if the role was right," the site stated.
Although Gomez recently appeared in the mature drama, Spring Breakers, the erotic part of the shy, college graduate turned Red Room of Pain participant would be like no other, and undoubtedly be more sexually explicit in nature.
50 Shades screenwriter Kelly Marcel, who is currently almost finished penning the film script, stated that it would be adhering to the context of E.L. James' books with lots of sex and raunchiness. Producers are shooting for an NC-17 rating, according to a write-up in Style magazine. The movie is slated for its big screen release in the summer of 2014.
