Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise Divorce: One Year After Split, Katie Focused on Daughter Suri
It has been one year since Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise broke things off and sources say that Holmes' biggest concern at the moment is her daughter.
The former couple's 6-year-old daughter Suri is busy keeping her parents on their toes.
"Katie seems flustered a lot," a source told People in an upcoming edition. "You can see the struggle in her face. Suri is quite a handful."
However, Holmes and Cruise are working to keep their relationship amiable.
"Tom and Katie are in a really good place," a source told E!. "They have a good relationship. Soon after the split, obviously, they didn't. But they have managed to mend their relationship for the sake of Suri. Things are cordial right now."
Holmes is currently in the middle of shooting for the romantic Spike Lee flick, Mania Days. The former Dawson's Creek actress shares steamy love scenes with costar Luke Kirby. Sources claim that the romance extends to the pair's off camera lives but Kirby's friend recently denied the rumors, according to the Daily Mail.
For his part, Cruise is apparently ready to find a new relationship but the A-lsit actor is looking to find someone within the industry.
"He wants to find love again," a source told E!. "He's a really great guy and it's difficult for him to play the dating game, because even if he likes someone who isn't famous it's hard for them to understand his world."
While The Mission: Impossible star recently cleaned up at the box office with Oblivion, Holmes is already signed on for her next venture with Responsible Adults.
