Melissa Gorga Doesn't Want People Going To Her Own Restaurant?
Melissa Gorga and her husband, Joe, opened up a restaurant with Teresa Giudice in May 2017 and now, less than one year later, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is telling fans not to go to the venue.
According to a new report, Melissa appeared on Wednesday night's episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she revealed that Gorga's Homemade Pasta & Pizza would be moving to a new location. She also advised viewers not to go to its current location in East Hanover, New Jersey.
“We’re moving to a new location. The Gorga’s that is [there] right now, we just pulled the sign off the top yesterday,” Melissa explained to host Andy Cohen during the Jan. 10 episode of the show.
Joe Gorga and sister Teresa Giudice tragically lost their mother, Antonia Gorga, in March 2017 just as filming was beginning on the eighth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Shortly thereafter, the siblings and Joe's wife, Melissa, took to their Instagram pages to share tributes to their mom.
Months after the unfortunate death, the Gorgas and Giudice opened their restaurant that included tons of photos and recipes from their mother. Sadly, their relationship with their business partners recently took a major turn for the worse and now, they've been forced to look for a new location.
“Do not go to that location. It is not Gorga’s,” Melissa explained on Watch What Happens Live.
Although Melissa likely had plenty more to say about the issue, she explained that because what was happening was so "major," she was unable. That said, she added that fans will soon hear a lot more about what went down in recent weeks.
Melissa also spoke to The Morning Breath show about the issues, saying that she and her husband were completely taken aback by how busy the restaurant had gotten. She then said that they were having issues with the restaurant's management and how they were running the location.
As for how her husband feels, an insider recently spoke out.
“Joe is furious. He feels duped,” the insider told Us Weekly. “They never made good on their end of the deal so Joe was done … This isn’t a good look and people don’t understand why they didn’t give Joe the money he promised him.”
