'My Assets Are Real': Katy Perry Responds To Plastic Surgery Rumors
Getting lip injections, fat transfers and nose jobs might be a fad for most celebrities, but not for Katy Perry. The 33-year-old claims she's never had physical alterations.
However, she did admit to getting laser and having filler injections under her eyes for the hollowing, which she mentioned is a great solution for dark circles.
The "Bon Appétit" singer also stated that people tend to think her assets are fake, but they are real. Although the songwriter didn't go under the knife, that does mean she's anti-physical alterations.
"Of course, always be your authentic self — but if someone wants a nose job that makes them feel better, and they love their profile more because of it, it's like 'Go ahead!' Perry said.
In an interview with Refinery29, Perry also opened about how she's learned to embrace her beauty through her pixie cut hairstyle.
"My face really stands out [now], and I actually feel a lot prettier with my short hair. I've really gotten to know my face better," she said.
How Does Katy Maintain Her Flawless Skin?
If plastic surgery isn't the answer to Perry's flawless skin, then what is? Well, it's all thanks to Proactiv and her strict eating habits.
Perry admitted that Proactiv was the answer to her acne problem and that she used to have really bad skin in her early 20's.
The singer said she tried everything from laser treatments, different ointments, and went to expensive facialists, but nothing worked until someone recommended Proactiv. Perry has been using the product for 10 years and hasn't experienced any breakouts thanks to the product.
She also makes sure she stays away from fast food and sugar. The Grammy Award winner mentioned that she's obsessed with McDonald's ice cream, but she's managed to sustain her body by avoiding it.

The plastic surgery rumors might be false, but her new lip gloss collaboration with CoverGirl is definitely true!
On Tuesday, Jan. 16, CoverGirl announced that the latest addition to Perry's CoverGirl makeup collection is her Katy Kat Gloss.
The highly pigmented lip glosses are inspired by Perry's bold beauty looks on and off the stage. The glosses are available in 12 shades such as, blue, violet, hot pink, and coral.
Lip glosses might get a bad rap for being sticky, but Katy Kat Gloss leaves lips moisturized with a soft creamy feel.
In 2013, Perry released her first collection with CoverGirl, which included 13 matte lipstick shades. In 2016, the singer went on to release four mascaras, including the brand's first ever electric blue mascara.
Katy Kat Gloss is currently available at local pharmacies.
